Can I carbonate any other drinks?
No. Our machine is only designed for carbonating of water.
Are your products allergen-free?
Our products are free from the following common allergens:
- Gluten
- Seafood, shellfish and fish
- Eggs
- Peanuts and tree nuts
- Soy
- Celery, mustard and sesame seeds
Can I use multiple CO2 chargers to get extra fizz?
We recommend using only one CO2 charger per bottle. For a mild fizz, use the 1.3 litre bottle and the 1 litre bottle for extra strong fizz. Water can only contain a certain amount of CO2, so using extra CO2 chargers will not add more fizz. Our SodaSparkle machine has a unique safety mechanism that will release any excess pressure to prevent carbonated water over-flowing when you open the bottle.
Do I need to use special water with my SodaSparkle maker?
No. You can use any type of water that you typically drink at home. We recommend using cold water as this results in the best carbonation.
How do I clean my SodaSparkle system?
Both the machine and bottles must be hand washed, using warm water and a non-abrasive cleanser if necessary. SodaSparkle bottles should not be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Can I use other makes of bottles?
No. Only SodaSparkle bottles can be used with the SodaSparkle machine.
Why does the bottle have an expiration date?
SodaSparkle bottles are designed to withstand recurring pressure from the carbonation process, however after time the plastic will become more flexible and expand under pressure, reducing its effectiveness in making carbonated water. We recommend you replace the bottles after 18 months of use. To prevent leaks and cracks, the bottles must be replaced if put in a dishwasher or if they have been scratched or damaged.
Are CO2 chargers safe?
CO2 charges are safe to use and keep. They contain a small amount of CO2 under pressure to enable it to carbonate water
How should I store my CO2 Chargers?
As the chargers contain compressed CO2, it is important that they are not exposed to heat for a prolonged time. Always store the CO2 chargers in a cool and dry environment away from a heat source.
Are the used CO2 chargers recyclable?
Yes. Your used SodaSparkle CO2 chargers are fully recyclable. Please check with your local authority for more information.
Can I use a different make of CO2 Chargers?
No. The SodaSparkle machine is designed to work exclusively with our unique CO2 chargers. Use of other chargers may be unsafe and can cause damage to the machine and invalidate our warranty. Please note that CO2 chargers used for products like pellet guns are NOT food grade and should never be used to carbonate water.
What is the shelf life of the CO2 Chargers?
The SodaSparkle chargers have no expiration date.
Do SodaSparkle products come with a Warranty?
SodaSparkle products are manufactured to extremely high standards and we are proud to back this up with a 1 year warranty.
Are SodaSparkle products environmentally friendly?
Yes. Because our bottles can be used again and again for many years, the SodaSparkle is an environmentally friendly alternative to buying ready-made bottles and cans of soda. The SodaSparkle CO2 chargers are disposable and recyclable.

Are the SodaSparkle bottles BPA free?
Yes. All SodaSparkle bottles are BPA free. SodaSparkle is committed to ensuring that our products are safe to use and that they comply with, or exceed international standards for beverage quality.
I hear some gas escaping when I make soda. Is that a problem?
This is normal. The SodaSparkle machine has 2 release valves that are used to maximise carbonation by pushing out oxygen and also work as a safety device to prevent excess pressure in the bottle.
My soda is not fizzy enough
SodaSparkle offers 2 bottle sizes: a 1.3L bottle for light fizz (similar to sparkling water) and a 1.0L bottle for extra strong fizz.
